The main goal of Scissorbox is to release full-length novels via the web, as well as selling the printed books in Scissorbox's online shop. Chapters will be released sporadically alongside free audio podcasts, as well as high-quality art prints depicting the world of Carthis.

The first book in the series, entitled "The Hiss of Butane" follows the story of Gareth Lutherford after his inevitable capture and climactic confrontation with Cathar Romano. This novel is a prelude to an all new storyline set in the unique universe of Carthis--a neo-industrial-age city--who's foundation is crumbling, both literally and socially.

From "The Hiss of Butane" : Gareth Lutherford, Carthis' most feared, reviled, and powerful assassin who has ignited a war with his own past. While doing so, another man, touched unwittingly by the hands of Gareth's game, seeks within the confides of his own mind for a lost memory. It is one of his long-dead family. The two stories will unite, clash, and erupt. Culminating in a burst brought on by a single vendetta, a single spark.
