Artist has 2 default skins allowing you to create a crafty canvas, or a dark, moody portfolio to portray your photos, artwork, or sketches. Each skin has multiple textures and color options, making Artist a true custom site builder.

Try this: click the "Black" setting in "Overall Scheme" option of the settings panel (found in the upper left of this demo), then select "Photos" in the lower half of the site. This gives a great idea of a dark design, and just touches on the powerful custom options available within this theme.
